In the traditional coaching world, you pay a premium for one hour of one-on-one time. In Group Coaching, we flip the script. This is a "living laboratory" where you learn not only from your own work but from the breakthroughs, questions, and creative hurdles of your peers. It turns the solitary act of writing into a shared journey.

We prioritize face time, real conversation, and the "messy" parts of the creative process that lead to the biggest breakthroughs. There will be times where you are in the "Hot Seat" getting coaching, and others where you are an observer for someone else's process.

A week before every group coaching session, we will open a community thread where you can submit your coaching questions. The first three to submit will get to go in the Hot Seat, unless they are too similar of questions or that person has been chosen recently and there is other interest.

If you aren't in the Hot Seat, observing others will allow you to understand your own manuscripts in a deeper way by learning from other struggles - as many of the things we face as writers are similar!

There will also be time in every session for a live Q&A with your expert coach

In all tiers you will gain access to 2-3 prerecorded lessons from every coach that works with StoryCraft Academy. Any time a new coach joins our platform, we will add more content from them. We will be adding coaches every quarter. 

We encourage our subscribers to watch this content before your group coaching sessions so that you have a base layer of foundational knowledge and can utilize your time most effectively.

In the Diver and Wayfinder tiers, you will also gain access to all current and future courses developed by StoryCraft Academy - these are  multi-module courses focused on topics such as self-coaching using StoryMetrics, managing imposter syndrome, developing an authors operating system, and more.

StoryCraft Academy offers multi-module, self-paced courses that are included in the Diver and Wayfinder tiers, or that can be purchased separately. 

We will also begin hosting retreats in 2027 in several international locations. Check out our retreats page to vote on your favorites!

Every coach will have a list of their offerings on their StoryCraft Academy page. This will include services like editing, query reviews, one-on-one coaching, and more. You can easily purchase these services through our platform, giving you simple access and the peace of mind of having a customer support team ready to handle any issues you may encounter.
